I don't come around here as often as I'd like since I seem to keep getting busier and busier (damn real life!), so when I checked in today and see a post by Evaine that says it contains material not appropriate for children. Woo Hoo!! So I click on it as fast as I can, hoping for nudies of Lars, and instead it is a very nice post about her deceased mother and what a wonderful woman she was. Okay...

1. Who the fuck died and make LiveJournal the morality police?
2. What the fuck was in that post that made it inappropriate for kids?

That's my main bitch about people/boards/whatever thinking they need to police things. What makes you the one to decide what a minor should/should not see? I have 5 kids and I don't need or want anybody else telling me what they should see, that's my job tyvm. And I earned that job by going through 9 months of pregnancy, several hours of labor and finally childbirth. You want to make that decision for someone...go have kids. And if you don't want to have to make that decision about your kids, but rather make the rest of us jump through hoops, do us all a favor and stop having kids! Go to the pound and get a cat. And then get the cat fixed so when you let her outside she won't get pregnant and have a litter of kittens that will just end up in my backyard. Sorry to be so grumpy today, but I get so sick of this. If I don't want my kids to see something on the internet I stay in the room with them while they are on the computer. It's also real easy to go back and check the history on a computer so you can see if they have been anywhere you didn't want them to be. And if they were? Ground them from the computer!! Shut the damn thing off...if they need it for school take them to the library to use that computer or make then do it during Study Hall. Geez!

On a not so bitchy note, lol, we are setting a record high of 71 today. And tomorrow the high will be 35 and it's going to snow. I love this weather.

In case any of you didn't know...our oldest daughter is having a baby and her due date is day after tomorrow! I've been assuming she would be late since it's her first and SHE was 2 weeks late herself, but tonight she is starting to feel bad and her back hurts. I have my fingers crossed for her since I remember all too well what it's like the last few days of pregnancy.

Wow...2 posts in 2 days, must be a record for me. LOL

I went to see Brokeback Mountain tonight. I NEVER EVER cry at movies, it's just not my nature. I cried. Several times. What a beautiful movie and story, my heart just broke for Jack at how obviously in love he was. I thought both actors did magnificent jobs showing their emotions w/o words, you could tell just what they were thinking. And this is all coming from a person who goes to the movie theatre once a year, so you know I was impressed. :)

The grass is about 4" high and there is 2"-3" of water standing in it. All of which not only makes it a pain to walk in, but it also attracts every mosquito in the Northern Hemisphere.
